Hyundai ambition to become one major player in US car industry continues.  The 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe is the new sports car from the Korean automaker to become the new gun. With clean exterior lines and classic sports car shape, the 2010 Genesis Coupe hits with a bang. It seems that the company will achieve its goal. Today, Hyundai together with KIA represents the world’s fifth-largest car manufacturer with a 70 percent share of its domestic market and growing respect in Europe and North America.

First of all, let’s not being confused with the name. Hyundai also uses the Genesis name for its luxury sedan. To clear up the confusion, the Genesis Coupe and Genesis Sedan have completely nothing in common with each other, except that they both ride on a similar RWD platform, and they both seem to have started a new image for Hyundai. That means, the all-new Genesis Coupe is not a two-door version of the successful Genesis sedan. While they both share the rear-wheel drive configurations, an engine block, some suspension components, and a transmission, they are two absolutely very different vehicles. The Genesis Sedan is a luxury-oriented conveyance with seating for five, while the Genesis Coupe is a performance-oriented 2+2.
